When I use TD with my trainer I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 lite with a 10 inch diagonal screen. My issues is some of the touch points are too close together. Too many times my unsteady fingertip has his an adjacent touch point with very disappointing results.
The most common are:
1) Being in ERG mode and intending to change to slope but hitting the jump to next interval (>>) button.
2) Targeting the increase slope or power increase (^) but hitting the system previous page button (<)
3) Targeting the scroll dots to switch to KPH/KM/Cal (^) but hitting the system previous page button (<)
Is there a way to work around these other than keeping my heart rate below Zone 2?
Hey John, yes these samsungs with these bottom buttons are a bit more problematic. I am always trying to think of this problem as users have had similar issues for years. It seems it may be possible to hide this samsung navigation bar automatically on this quick start page popup. That would partially solve the problem and we probably should make next require a long press as that is a bummer to press it accidentally. Let me research this stuff.
I have been motivated to fix this problem for a long time so you just inspired me. I know it is not exactly what you wanted but it’s harder to change the UI than do this.
