Sorry to hear about that. My wife cancelled my race in May, by planning a vacation at the same time. In my case vacation was better.
Anyway if this Sept race is all you really care about you need to evaluate how you feel now. You were just doing peak training, most people can only do this for about 12-16 weeks. You want to avoid burning out. The safest thing would be to do 1-2 weeks of zone 2 (a mini base period) and then start your next CJ plan. That can give you a little reset and then do a build and peak like below (yours will be 18 or 19 weeks).
So you can’t go hard for 5 months without burn out. If you did not feel like you were going hard you have more options but still that is the safest plan but you also should do something that seems fun ![]()
