That’s really weird. Didn’t work for me. Will try a different laptop to see. Also, if that works, then what’s the need for a script or the github app? MFA needs to be disabled on GC too for github app to work.
After Trainerday workouts I export the FIT file and manually upload to Garmin. It is more work than Zwift, etc… and auto uploads but it saves money and the Trainerday app works quite well.
It’d be nice to have a simpler way to do it, but this way works.

Planning to sign up today.
Spoke to Garmin and they cannot remove the MFA due to ECG health requirements. So I guess the github program will only work for those that have no ECG on their Garmin devices.
Still not able to simply download fit/tcx file after a workout and simply upload to Garmin. Have a case open with Garmin for that now.

the python script can do the MFA using the garth library.
on the other hand I’ve still an issue, but I’ve opened it on github… fingers crossed
