I’d like it to be possible to add power/time blocks and be able to control both at the same time.
I’ve attached an example of what I mean
If I’ve repeated this request, I apologize.

I am not sure I understand it… or let’s say right now you can increase an interval length and at the bottom you can increase the intensity now. Seems close enough to the same thing.
Hi. Then it must be me not being able to find where to increase the power of the block I’m adding. When I tap the plus button, it only lets me increase the time, not the watts of the block.
Ok, I understand now, although I find the behavior a bit strange. The arrows increase the watts for the entire workout wouldn’t it be easier if, when clicking the plus, there was an option for both watts and time in the same block, so it only affects the block I want to increase in the workout?
This is not when you press + this is after you insert or before you can just increase intensity.
It’s kind of a rare case I think, that you want to increase intensity in the middle of doing an interval while extending at the same time, just press + to get it to the level you want it and at the end of the interval get it back down again.
Let’s say your suggestion solves one specific problem, there are about 20 different more rare cases like this and I used to have a way to do this but it ended up so complex that no one used it. So more important is just to keep it simple as long as their is a way to solve your problem. A second idea is to build up a block library with different intensities, then just grab a block and merge it into the current workout.
I understand now how it works, I just find it a bit odd to set the time in one place and the watts in another. Actions that rely on the same input should ideally be in the same place, rather than separated.
But thanks for the help now I know how to increase/decrease the watts in the extra block I add.
Yes the current design is simple and only addresses the most common requested need because I previously tried to design a solution for each users request like yours. Our current design allows much faster adding than your design when I am trying to add 5-minutes with 1 click when I am already sweaty and tired. Your design is like 8-9 clicks or something. Mine is 2 simple clicks. + and time
Each person has a unique way of thinking about modifying intervals. I want to insert 5 intervals just like the current active/rest set… or I want to increase length of current interval but increase intensity… or ….
Previously + button showed a popup with 2 tabs and a lot of options. It would do exactly what you and every other user wanted, the result was no one used it ![]()
As I mentioned, I do have a new improvement coming that is simple and allows repeating multiple intervals as that is the second most popular request and fairly straight forward.
Thanks for helping me, great rest of the week and weekend
