App won't drop connection to HRM after workout finishes

I use TD on an iPad with a Coros HRM, and I’ve noticed that after I finish a workout, the app keeps an active connection to the HRM until I force-quit the app. This is visible due to a blinking light on the HRM, and the connection seems to run its battery down.

Yes, we kind of do this different than other platforms. If you’ve noticed, other platforms have a startup period when you’re starting the workout/ride. TrainerRoad counts down five seconds, for example. We actually connect as soon as you start the app so that you’re instantly working out by the time you get to your actual workout page, or that’s the goal. So because of that, we don’t shut down the connections.

So far, very few people have had a problem with this. They just learned to kill our app if they don’t want it connected. I’m open to consider changing if more people had a problem with it.

Fair enough. Now that I know to do it, I do it, but it took me a long time to figure it out.
