I’m not sure if this would be a simple addition or not but, if it is, it would be nice to be able to batch download all of the workout files in a list rather than having to download each workout individually.
That would be great, also in FIT or GPX format, therefore, we can uploaded as an activity in other platforms
For example, I need to export each activity in TD as GPX or FIT o get it imported in Garmin
I don’t know Intervals has that option since I have all my TD activities pushed to Intervals
But you are talking about activities and he is mentioning workouts. Do you mean both activities and workouts or just activities?
It’s not so hard, but what is hard is finding time right now for my web developer to do anything nice to have… He has about 2+ months of big projects. But I totally agree this is a nice feature, I will add it to our backlog.
I should say you can do this now in about 30 seconds Just click create new plan on myplans page, open the list, drag all items onto the calendar and click save and export.
You mention Garmin, so I guess you have a Garmin device?
Easiest is to double record. Just run your Garmin device in parallel and let it upload automatically to Intervals.
Activities in my case, as we know Garmin doesn’t accept mostly all apps to push info into their system, the only option we have is to import activities into Garmin by uploading one by one
However, it would make the process less tedious if we could have our activities selected by type and date range, and exported in just one zip file
Thereafter, we can pick any activities from the extracted file to be used as we need
In my case, I ain’t taking advantage of the whole Garmin ecosystem because I’m just logging activities that my Garmin Edge computer pushes into Garmin automatically. But the rest of my activities, like TD workouts, running, walking, etc., are totally out of Garmin Connect
As Claude mentioned dual record is a good option but also dropbox makes it fairly simple, and less painless, fit file is written there I believe.
Ah, good call on adding them to a plan and downloading the plan. I’ll do that. Appreciate the workaround!
Yes I have a Garmin Edge device. I thought in doing so, actually I tried once.
Then I created another problem, Garmin Connect got the workout from my device, but also Garmin Connect sent the activity to Strava
I guess I need to disconnect TD to Strava to avoid duplicates.
Who did it say it gotta be easy?.. ha ha. If just Garmin will be a little more open minded
