Best way to follow a plan when my weekly schedule varies?

I’m a little new to the training app world and TrainerDay. I see that all of the plans are based around doing workouts on a specific day of the week. Due to my work schedule I can’t always commit to a ride on a Saturday for example but sometimes I can.

With. weightlifting I do this by following my PPL schedule, so Push-Pull-Legs-Rest and just repeat those 4 day blocks, even if theres a day in between where I couldn’t get a workout in, I know what I’m doing next.

Is there a way to go about this with TrainerDay that’s recommended?

If you have a plan you don’t have the send it to the calendar. You just can complete the workouts in a sequence.

Send your plan to the mobile app.

Hi Dave thanks for the reply! I feel a little silly asking this but how can I send the plan to the mobile app but not the calendar?

For example on the desktop site I want to try out Base Plus - Medium. But the only option I see is to send it to the calendar where it will be tied to days of the week.

That’s not a silly question.

Go to the My Plans section of the web site and click Active in Mobile App with the red X.

Click the blue X and confirm you’re using My Plans and the plan you’re interested in.

I think I got it working! Thanks so much for the help.

For anyone who might come across this. I was having trouble adding one of the Trainer Day Premium plans to the “My Plans” section to allow me to do this. Instead I decided to create a new plan with Coach Jack with came up in My Plans and then I could send it to the app from there.
