Hello, I’ve had this problem several times now, where erg mode -that works otherwise very well- cannot be engaged again after switching to resist. (the resist mode works ) To be clear, clicking on “erg” is possible but does nothing.
I’m on ios. trainer is jetblack pro
this used to work, one or two years ago when I tried. but It hasn’t for a while now.
I tried to unpair the trainer and pair it again while riding but it was even worse as erg was straight up crazy, absolutely couldn’t lock in to a steady power.
Hi there, that’s a strange one. Have you tried it with slope mode? Slope is basically the same as resistance, it’s just a different number. It’s just a percent instead of a resistance. We’ve never heard of this, but I want you to confirm that it is definitely resistance mode and not slope mode that you’re using. We don’t test resistance mode very much, but maybe it’s specifically tied to that, and we could test that more but since we test slope mode a lot, and a lot of users use it, it’s less likely to have a problem. You can change from resistance to slope in the other settings.
Not sure it’s the same thing, but I’ve had workouts where it would go from ERG to Slope for very short duration 10-20 seconds for sprints, then it’s supposed to go back to ERG for the rest interval, but it won’t. Maybe the duration is too short? My work around was just to adjust my workouts Max watts required for that session before doing the session, but it would be nice if I could create a workout and not have to mess with it before doing it every time.
