Completed Workouts + Intervals Longer Sync Request

Hello! New member here.

Just a few questions from me. I’ve looked through the forums, and possibly found answers about some missing features. But maybe I’ll at least add to the people who want more things :slight_smile:

  1. There is no way to complete a workout in the calendar, right? (apart from using the TrainerDay app?) As I understood, it is not possible to mark the completion from Garmin apps, but can it be done via intervals.icu? I sync TrainerDay’s calendar with intervals.icu, which in hand pushes it to Garmin; and once it’s done on Garmin, intervals.icu does see the workout.

  2. If I were to complete workouts in the calendar, using the TrainerDay app, would suggestions for new workouts (e.g. on my off days) differ? Or the suggested day workouts do not look at my current intensity, and it’s mostly random?

  3. I mainly use intervals.icu as the source-of-truth for things I do, would it be possible to have more workouts synced (idk, a month?) with it? I am a fan of the Fitness tab there and am lacking some planning data if not enough workouts are displayed.

Hello and welcome. And for sure no burden, I love questions and suggestions. TrainerDay is a big series of user suggestions :slight_smile:

You can mark it as completed. See below. Also if you do the workout and you have it connected to strava it will happen automatically.

There is no dynamic-ness to our plans other than we do have a TODAY feature in the app and website that tries to pick some other interesting workouts for you.

Longer intervals sync is possible but I am not sure how soon as the team is super busy right now coming into our peak season. You also can push a coach jack plan to my plans and then push the entire plan to Intervals the big down side is as things change when you use our calendar, you can edit directly in Coach Jack builder rather than do huge tweaks to your calendar.
