Connect to Concept2 Rower

I assumed it would be simple like connecting to my smart trainer. However, I must be doing something wrong. Is there a how-to for connecting my TrainerDay app to the rower?

Sorry, just getting back from vacation. We have a rowing feature, meaning you switch the sport to rowing, and then you should just be able to connect your C2.

Thanks! I was pretty sure I was in rowing, but I’m going to try again today. It’s the same process, connect through the app, not through the C2? Do I need to do anything to get the C2 to broadcast?

I have been able to connect my HR monitor to the C2, but that’s it so far.

If you have android, just make sure it is not directly paired to your phone. Second is just like any other app that you need to press connect on your C2.

I’m on an Iphone. Pressed connect on the C2, showed a screen with the PM5 number. Didn’t show up on my devices in TrainerDay (I was in RowErg mode). I was able to connect C2’s ErgData app, though I did it only after the TrainerDay search for devices has ended.

Sounds like I’m doing the right things. I’ll try re-installing the app. I appreciate the help and LOVE TrainerDay, the RowErg is a bonus feature for me.

I have a C2 and it works fine for me. You need to make sure that ERG data is not running in the background, for example, or no other app is connecting somehow to your C2, because that can block our app from being able to connect. It’s possible that recording a video will help, or screenshots and sharing it here, or sending it to the video to support@trainerday.com
