Hello,
I have an SBike Lite (smart ergometer) from Sportstech. It measures cadence and power independently and displays cadence, watts and km/h on the display und it has 24 resistance levels.
However, I always have to manually adjust the resistance in ERG mode; it doesn’t happen automatically.
At first, I thought this might not work in general, but sometimes (about 1 in 20 times) the following happens in slope mode: With each start of a new interval or segment, the resistance on my bike is automatically set to the lowest level.
So, Trainerday can apparently change the resistance on my bike, but it doesn’t do so in ERG mode.
What can I do? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello,
I wanted to follow up on this as I’m also using the Sbike Lite.
When I use ERG mode, the resistance changes whenever the target power in the workout changes through the intervals. However, within an interval the resistance doesn’t adapt when I adapt (which I thought would happen in ERG mode).
I connected the bike directly and also tested a connection through QZ app. In both cases, the trainer is shown as controllable and Trainer Day receives the watt/rpm data.
Oh my god… way too late to respond. Sorry Ben.
This would not be a function of our app but more of how your bike works although I would think the QZ app does this as well as your bike. We just send the target, say 100w when the interval changes, it’s up to your bike or QZ to adjust if your actual power does not match the desired target. Hope that helps, although I know it does not solve the problem.
Should be fixed now. Let me know.
Thanks for clarifying, I will check if there is some setting on the bike or in QZ.
Should be fixed now. Let me know.
Was this referring to Ben’s initial issue of someting else?
I was thinking all of it. If QZ still has a problem let me know.
