Help me to understand :-) - Questions about what is possible in TD and app

About me, I have an Elite Nero smart roller, my bike also has a power meter on it. My pain cave is a steel barn which has no wifi or mobile signal.

At the moment I use a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt and Training Peaks to schedule and perform my workouts (as well as using the Bolt to control the smart rollers e.g. ERG or resistance).

From my research it is my understanding that the Trainday App can schedule my workouts, trainer Jack (the AI trainer) can create my schedule, and the Trainerday App can talk to my HR monitor, Power meter and my Smart rollers to assist in my training?

If the above is correct, I think my only question is - will the app work in the steel barn with no internet? Can I load the workout ahead of stepping into abyss?

Also, does it mean my Bolt will not be required for indoor training, i.e. the Trainerday app replaces it?

Oh and finally, I take it my completed workouts can be uploaded to either Strava and/or TrainingPeaks?

Thanks

All of that is correct and the internet is not required. You can test the free version of our app to see how you can do workouts, just not your workouts. Coach Jack is not AI we have new AI feature but it is more experimental at this point.

Yes final goes to strava and trainingpeaks

@Alex , firstly I have to say - this is a really nice app, very impressed and well done.

I have tried the app with my smart rollers, power meter and HR monitor and everything is great. I have done a simple workout and played around with the app and all good. A few of questions:

1 - Do you provide post workout information such NP, TSS etc and power / hr zones? I have not uploaded the workout.

2 - I tried both the ERG and slope options, all good. How do I set the resistance? Also, I could not work out how to change the slope? Not sure if this is because I am using the app in standard mode not premium

Thanks again.

We dont provide much in the way of post ride analysis, we consider slope and restistance two different methods of training and most should use slope, its basically the same thing. But in other settings you can change it to resistance mode. As a premium member you can create automatic slope mode workouts that adjust the slopes as you go. We also have hr+ that automatically controls power based on heart rate. Glad you like it. We are working on some analysis tools but we figure most that want to do tss analysis will use tp or intervalsicu. But we are working on adding at least tss to the final workout details or history list

Glad you like it.
