How to enter a target HR BPM in the workout creator?

I’m trying to create a simple private workout where a default HR is provided for a segment. I can figure out how to use slopes but using a number within the BPM range gives me an error. How should I be entering the target BPM? Also, when I am riding that day can I adjust the target HR in real time?

I see that the HR or Slope is based on the Type but I don’t see a Type column despite this being referenced in the tooltips.

I think formatting needs to be like below with HR as the type and the target identified. I did not execute this workout so I can’t confirm it works, but it was accepted by the workout creater.

That was it, thanks!

Hi, I’m linking to this post because I also have a question to ask about creating a workout based exclusively on heart rate. My intention would be to create a workout in z2 using cardiac references instead of power references and, in this way, make sure that my interactive trainer regulates the tension using the heart rate as a reference (like Erg mode for example). I hope I was clear since English is not my language but I try to use it. Thanks for help

Hi, see below.

Thank you. In the test I had done I had done exactly this. The only doubt I had was what I should enter in the FTP % box but, from your example I imagine that the value is only descriptive. In the answer you gave me on the video comment I understood that, however, you can carry out a workout directly by pressing the “Quick Start” button and HR+. Crystal clear…as LT Kaffee (Tom Cruise) would say.

Oh perfect  have a good day.
