I have an ipad and macbook. Actually I train with Trainerday app on the ipad, and youtube full window on macbook.
Is there a way to do it just on the macbook? My macbook is a new one with apple chip, so I can download the app.
With a Trainerroad I could load the app and place it at the bottom of the screen, and youtube window behind…
Since the app is an ios app it’s not like a native mac app. I actually just tried to see how small I could make it at the bottom and see it crashes.
We are going to try to fix this crash but the smallest it could be on your mac would be like below
Hello @marcoslachnowicz ,
you could use the indoor cycling software from icTrainer .
It synchronizes all workouts with TrainerDay automatically and has an integrated browser to watch Youtube (or Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.) on the same display.
Thanks.
Well, I have linked my Trainerday account, but I don’t know how to proceed to see Trainerday workouts or my plan. The icTrainer app looks difficult to me with so many options…
Yes, the options are a little overwhelming at first, but you quickly get used to the range of functions.
There are also lots of YouTube tutorials - e.g. on connecting TrainerDay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hZElCHLnVI
What is the status of the crash on minimizing to bottom of screen? I would love to have this option. I like the trainerday interface much more than the icTrainer interface. I’m also aware of the trainerday / youtube option, which helps a lot, but I definitely want to stream things from outside youtube, as well.
Crash? Occasionally someone has some issue on some specific device but there is no crashing that I know of. Are you asking can you watch a show in the foreground with our app in the background? If your phone is reasonably fast it should not be a problem. Some times you see our app catching up in the foreground if your device runs too slow in the background.
Thanks, Alex.
Re crash: I haven’t tried it for myself yet. I will in the next couple hours likely. I was just referring to your above comment citing crashes in this thread from last October. Didn’t mean to sound alarmist or negative or anything.
This crash above was just when re-sizing to a very small size on m-series mac. Don’t worry, you sounded fine
