I would like to delete a full plan I sent to IntervalsICU

Hello everyone,
I’m new here and mainly interested in the possibility of creating super simple training plans. Otherwise, I track and plan my rides in intervals.icu, so I’m glad that there is the option to send the training sessions to intervals.

But what I’m wondering is, can you also send a “plan” to intervals? Not just all the individual sessions, but like you can do with (“Intertools”)? When you create a plan there, it also appears as a training plan in the library.

This has the huge (!) advantage that you can delete all imported training sessions at once.
I just sent over 8 weeks and then had to delete 32 sessions individually… Or maybe I just couldn’t find the right way to do it.

Many thanks and best regards,
Adam

Yes you can send full plans to intervals. You can’t delete from our tool but you can use calendar sync and then when you delete from our calendar it deletes from them including the full plan

ah i see. but thanks for your quick response! have a nice evening.

We could add this feature. We allow sending specific weeks. So 4-weeks at a time is a good idea. Many people change their mind often so smaller chunks makes sense. I know some like to see that imaginary CTL goal

exactly

I have to say when I had CTL goals I was more inspired to train than any other time. So I understand the pull. Just be careful when setting intensity targets based on CTL, that is a slippery slope.

You are right we should add this delete feature though. Many intervals users are like you and it would make it a more flexible/simple planning process.

Alex,

I’d be interested to hear more about your training story if you have time and want to share.

My training history is more like commercial fisherman in Alaska to surfer in Hawaii and Mexico… I just get obsessed about things and go deep down the rabbit hole. Marathon training and CTL focus was one of those holes for a few years. I had my CTL at 140 at one point. I am not a natural endurance athlete so I was still slow

I also at one point did 10 reps with 4 second negatives on a 45 deg leg press machine with 400kg (I should have been doing squats instead…) So my leg strength was very high.

I have always been some form of cyclist. Never competitive. My longest wheelie was a mile though

You have a MAF focus now, right? Is your intent to cycle for health and happiness primarily or is there a performance focus with it also?

Dave

I have a survival focus at the moment. This is going into peak season for our growth, so just trying to make sure we are as ready as possible. All perfect storms seem to be aligning  Android Play store upgrade requirements are killing us…
