Indoor Cycling Nirvana with VR and TrainerDay live browser feature

The trainer day live browser / youtube integration is great, but… when it gets really great is when you add e.g. a Quest Meta 3 with the open (vented) mask interface, and load trainer day into the built-in browser (or just watch youtube app on headset if it’s a simple ride).

When I need to do intervals, I use the TD live browser + youtube tool. Everything else, I just watch cycling videos on YouTube.

I find it to be incredibly fun. Can’t really afford the headset, but… it makes me excited to get on my indoor trainer.

Just wanted to share how well the TrainerDay live browser interface works in the Meta 3 headset.

…Gamechanger.

Thanks, Alex, for this great design.

Wow… super cool You are the first I have heard of using VR and cycling. I know friends using VR for sim racing that love it.

I doubt I would have done even 10% of the indoor cycling I’ve done without VR. It’s so much more fun. The ‘world’ scrolls and your legs just go. And you’re in the Italian Alps. Or a Croation resort island at sunset. Or a boardwalk in Spain, early morning.

It’s just the best.
