Live Heart Rate Axis (difference between web and app)

I noticed that the HR/Power chart between the Android and Web version don’t use the same axis for Heart Rate.

In particular, the Android version uses FTP and HR threshold as the “mid point” of the vertical axis (which is nice), but the Web Live View appears to default to 0 (min) …110 (midpoint) …220 (max).

The android version I like “better”, but I think it could be improved as well. Currently it is “1/2 HRT” … “HRT” … “2x HRT” … but “2*” HRT is too much, as you’ll lever get a HR into the 300s.

So, maybe both (Web Live View and App) could be:

  • Max: 220
  • 50% Mark: HRT
  • Minimum: HRT - (220 - HRT), or 2*HRT - 220

That would give scales like this
80 … 150 … 220
100 … 160 … 220

And it seems like it would scale better as well (i.e. lower bound increases as LTHR increases with fitness, and as fitness increases “zooms” in for a more nuanced view.

Yes we need to fix the web view. It’s late tonight but I will consider your suggestion on scale, it sounds like a good idea now with a lack of sleep
