Today I’ve experienced multiple times issues with live stream in the browser.
First time happened that live stream went out of sync after skipping some intervals. Metrics were shown properly, but graphs was plotting but remained behind. After closing the tab in the browser and reopening it, the problem disappeared. But after switching the app with camera and WhatsApp, the problem started again.
Second problem was with the app, that was showing the next segment in z6, while it was clearly z2.
I attach some photos. Last two shows the first problem and we’re taken at the same time.
I’ve also a feature request : it would be great to change the chart zoom in the livestream when we change it in the app.
The bug about the Z6 is probably caused by the software looking at target FTP % instead of the Target Watts
I think that the app should suggest the users to enable the OS setting that allows the app running when it’s in background. I did, and that improved a bit some problems while switching to other apps
I believe skipping intervals is fixed in live view. We will look at this Z6 error, that is strange. I will consider zooming live stream but I partially believe it is beneficial to have separate as most people are seeing full workout on a big screen. We should move that to a separate feature request.
Tnx Alex. Please notice that the live stream out of sync started not only after interval skip, but also after I switched the app on the MobilePhone to do some pictures/videos.
Regarding zooming I also use it on a big screen - as we can only look at one screen at time, I think that it makes sense to keep them in sync. We might do a very long workout and it’s not handy to ride it without zoom (small details, eh :))
But I agree that it’s a feature request, not a bug
