Would it be “relatively straightforward” to include running and/or swimming with the intro of LLM plan builder? I see previous conversations have got slightly stuck on the controlling treadmills/bluetooth/HR v power etc
However for my personal scenario what I would love is to say Tues, Wed and Fri Coach Jack workouts as usual and Monday and Saturday runs. The run workouts can be broadly specced with duration and effort (either run type (1 hr tempo), principle heart rate zone (30 min Z2) or target rpe (30 min hard) - whatever is easiest to implement. The main thing is that the coach jack / bike workouts take these additional planned efforts in mind when planning the bike workouts. Does that make sense?
I moved this to new feature request. This absolutely makes sense.
Is it easy?
Allowing LLM builder to add it to our calendar and text based swim/run for now would be relatively easy and us augmenting your llm conversation with prompts to help the LLM to generate a decent tri-plan is relatively easy.
Then another phase could be to allow pushing run workouts to Garmin. Also not too bad.
Realize the LLM is in control of how the plan works, all we would do is give warnings that we will allow you to “1-click” to provide back to the LLM to make adjustments.
As we go this route we should make running workouts sharable and fully embrace the whole solution but it could be taken in steps.
We have a relationship with them, we are the only platform that supports the vasa directly. They give a free trainerday subsription with their trainers. It’s just a power meter, more like a rowing machine.
One of the guys that was early starter of Vasa had worked at TrainingPeaks as one of the first employees and is semi-serious triathlon coach and I am pretty good friends with him so I would ask his advice in this.
