Maximum Heart Rate Test

Hi Alex. I would like to know if the Maximum Heart Rate value can be obtained by FTP test. I know you suggested the “Maximum - Heart Rate Test” but it seems to be a good alternative (2 results in 1 test). Thank you for your replay

You can´t reach max HR after a significant time at high Intensity because your body is already fatigued. Do some shorter high Intensity bouts gradualy harder, recover shortly and then go for it. All out and right when you want to give up, give it that last bit of energy you have.
Only do this after a good warmup and if you have no cardiovascular issues! If in doubt, consult a med before you do this.
HR Max is not trainable and has very little value as training/performance metric. If you remember a moment in a group ride or race where you went all out for the sake of holding on, that should give a pretty good estimate. No need to test specifically.

Ok. Thank you for your reply. Best regards

Yes 20 warmup up and 3 one minute all out sprints with a minute in between is the standard approach.
