We still have some improvements to do. Like CMD+Z working correctly and the text descriptions at the right are legacy mode. But I think most and I hope all people that create workouts like this one a lot more. I personally am switching to instructional content creator mode for a while. We have created a lot of new stuff and not documented it well. If you ever used sets and reps in the past, this is improved a lot. You can do complex arrangements now and it will be 100% predictable.
See below. Soon we will do lots of cool stuff like running workouts and fixed watt workouts… Fixed watt will be private only…
This is fixed and even improved. @BlackTek mentioned a long time ago that our CP calc method was not perfect. I eventually understood what he meant. CP and FTP should be independent. We have done this and I added CP line to make it obvious.
This is not realistic example but illustrates the point FTP=180 CP=220, FTP% is 120% for interval but since CP is higher it does not affect W’Bal… this stuff gets “ugly” just making it as clear as possible. Also put a simple switch on this page for metrics vs W’. Creators care more than general workout searchers… so giving creators simpler access to this feature and hiding it from the “unaware.” on other pages.
Also added nicer row selected indicator with underlined black.
Reversing it makes it more obvious. 100% of FTP affects W’Bal if CP is less than FTP. This would be rare or never unless someone creates their own definitions a bit different than standard. Both mean the power you can go forever and neither mean the power you can go for ever so there’s that…
Fixed the workout itself. Are you saying this affected the workout in the app? I am asking my developer to confirm his fix also fixed the api for the mobile app.
You can see what would happen if I tried to do your tempo workout… death at 65 minutes… really probably faster than that… but I overestimate my CP…
I haven’t used the workout since the new workout creator was launched.
The workout was fine yesterday - performed exactly as expected.
I think you would last longer than 65 minutes if you used that workout - it is HR+ with the bulk of the work at 128 bpm. It shouldn’t really move the W’bal line at all!
I’ve lost the ability to create HR-controlled workouts with the new creator. On existing HR-controlled workouts, I’ve lost the ability to change the specific target while editing the workout.
I found the bug. If I input the bpm target before setting the hr+ it seems to think its slope by default, regardless of switching to hr+. I deleted all bpm targets, set the rows to erg, then set them back to hr+ and input the bpm targets after and it didnt give the error.
