The next interval display when in HR+ mode on IOS is displaying information different than what I’d expect. I have a workout created with 5 min of ERG mode, 50 min of HR+ mode with target BPM, and then 5 min ERG mode.
Once the HR+ work has started, the next interval shows 83-60BPM, but thinking it should show 83-60 W as the next/last interval is ERG mode and not HR+.
In the first example where it shows 98W when it should be something in BPM, I’m not sure where the 98 came from, but it does align with the auto-generate “Indoor Summary” notes for the workout.
When in the initial 5 min ERG mode for this workout, should the next interval be showing 119 BPM and when HR+ mode starts should the next interval show 83->60 W?
Is it possible that I have something set/configured incorrectly?
98w is 65% of FTP which you have indicated. Yes, next interval only shows watt targets, you are right it should show HR+ segment instead, we will fix that as soon as we can get caught up with resolving some other more critical issues.
I am reading fast, but I think I answered all your questions. If not let me know.
Actually, from the above, it takes the target number(s) and adds the unit of the mode it is in.
98W is the 65% of FTP and W is added, probably because it is in ERG mode
83-60BPM is shown whole the target value is in Power (55-40%), but it adds BPM, probably because the app is in HR+ mode
It should take the target that is intended and add the correct unit. The second one is especially confusing since it mixes power numbers with HR units…
Yeah, workouts are fine and just a minor display issue. What MedTechCD mentioned makes sense - it’s showing the next interval based on the mode it’s currently in and not the mode it will be in.
