Are there any workarounds to get my CycleOps 400 to work with TrainerDay?
Looks like it has Ant+ Here are some options
- NPE device that converts Ant+ to FTMS or standard power meter
- Get a cheap older Android device that has Ant+ built in
- Get something like a Garmin Ant+ dongle that works with most Android phones
- Get power meter pedals
NPE has a few products. In the past it required iOS device for configuration, not sure about now.
Hi everyone,
Apologies for bringing up an old post, but I would like to know if anyone has managed to get the power meter of the CycleOps 400 Pro working. I have the USB ANT+ dongle, and it works—for example, I receive data daily from the Tanita BC1000 scale via an Android app without any issues. However, when I try to pair it with the CycleOps, nothing is detected. I have replaced the hub batteries and was able to pair it with my Garmin Fenix without any problems. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but I believe that shouldn’t be a major factor since I can use ANT+ in other apps.
We are only talking about the PowerTap; I know that the automatic resistance unit does not work due to the closed protocol.
I am on the free version, is the premium required? The version I have is 5.2.2.
Thx
We no longer have Ant+ so your other device must be connecting via BLE. You would need to use something like NPE Wyur is the only way I know.
Thx
I should say we also have a link to an APK here if you search Ant+ and you can install an old version of our app and see if it works for you.
