Seeing Personally Created Workouts as a free user

Hi,

Probably a user error our end…

I am a pro user but I’m just getting my wife going using our Stages sb20 smart trainer too. I’ve just signed her up with a free account on TrainerDay to check it out and persuade her it’s a thing she’ll enjoy (enjoy might be a strong word, but you know what I mean  )

I have generated her a workout in her account and put it in her favourites. All good so far and on the desktop I can see it there (I also favourited one of the free workouts too). But on the app (Android 9.9.1), I can only see the “20-FreeApp Workouts and FTP” on the drop down. Favourites does not appear as a drop down option for her but it does for me although we both have workouts in our respective favourites folders.

Is this a glitch, by design (for free users) or finger trouble our end?

Thanks so much.

p.s. a family or couple membership at a small discount might be attractive for people in our situation where the 2nd user would be very occasional so justifying the pro would be trickier. 2 people using one pro account for one trainer would I assume be frowned upon (and mess up your personal data).

Yes this is a paid feature (must be a bug in the desktop you are seeing it) and for yearly users I have offered discounts for 2 or 3 members… so far it has always been one off by request. I always hope our low price is enough but also respect that people have unique reasons. I am fine with two users using the same account but yes your reporting metrics would be a mess and every time you have to switch FTP. What ever you want  I am flexible. You can email at support@trainerday.com to figure it out if needed/desired.

Thanks Alex. I don’t think I’d appreciated how detuned the free version was on the app (with just the 20 workouts available and not your own creations) as I’ve been on the paid version for some time. As you say though, it’s great value for money on the paid version.

Sure no problem helping your wife, just email me. She wants to just hop on and go… Not fiddle around. The free version you can create unlimited combinations via fiddling… merging, + - turns a zone 2 into sweet spot…
