Skip a Day (or Week) and Push Workouts Forward

Sometimes things come up. Sometimes I go on vacation. Is there a way to automatically push an entire custom (not Coach Jack, not TP, etc.) training plan (or calendar) forward without having to manually drag and drop weeks’ worth of workouts? The use case would be, if I’m unable to do today’s workout (or even the entire week), but I want to keep everything in order and pick up where I left off when I’m able to.

Is there a way to do this?

Yes, in the calendar we have “Insert Week”

What about time periods less than a week (or more than a week but less than two)? Like insert blank day or similar?

No way to do that, no one has ever requested it, but we can treat this as a feature request. What we have is following a plan rather than following the calendar and when you follow the plan directly rather than calendar it is treated like a series of workouts that you do one and mark it as completed. That fits this case better. Many people do a long ride on weekends so pushing one day forward does not work in that case…

Okay, so if I follow a plan, instead of copy the plan to calendar and follow that, until I complete the next workout it won’t move on to the one following that? Am I understanding you correctly?

Re: the calendar, I was just thinking I could add multiple blank days if, say I’m sick for 2-3 days and can’t do the workout. I’d just want to push everything forward on the calender rather than skip it.

Oh yes, this is the great option and correct. That is exactly how it works. But this works if you are doing the workouts in our app, or marking them completed in the app. If you are doing the workout in our app at the end of the workout it says do you want to mark it as completed.

Alright cool, I’ll try running off a plan instead of a calendar and see if it does what I’m trying to do. Thanks.
