Hi,
I’ve encountered an issue beginning 17 November where trainerday is creating separate activity uploads in apple health, one from the mobile device and one from the watch. Neither is comprehensive of the captured data. Example from a ride the other day, 2 hour Z2+:
Watch: 1108 kcal, labelled as TD ride, complete HR data, no power
Phone: 280 kcal, no label, complete HR data, complete power data
Given the duration and average power (162W avg for 2 hours), the mobile seems to calculate calories (more) correctly.
Installation details: version 8.5.0 on iphone 13, HR from apple watch SE2, trainer is Tacx Neo
What would be the possible path forward to resolving this? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing on both mobile and watch multiple times, resetting the apple health connection, but the doubled activities continue to be written
Oh, let me have my developer look at that. The switch to turn off sending to apple health is not currently working. We will review and get this fixed asap.
Not sure I have similar issue : I use my Apple Watch as heart rate monitor and it sync two different activity on Apple health.
I should simply disable activity sync to Apple Health then only the TrainerDay app will send to Apple Health (and not the workout duplication from the watch) ?
Hi Alex, just to check that this was released a few days ago? I see an update three days ago and my activity today synced as corrected (no more duplicate activity) but the software version is still 8.5.3
