[Solved] Can't connect Kickr Core 2

First time user and I’ve just downloaded the app and it won’t connect with my Kickr Core 2.

The kickr core shows up in the device list but when I click the plus sign it first says “connecting“ and then “not found”.

No other device is connected to the trainer. I only ever use my phone to connect to the trainer via Zwift.

So far I’ve tried this without success:

  1. unplug the power for the trainer (about 30 min)
  2. Restart phone (Samsung)
  3. Reinstall the TrainerDay app
  4. Make sure Bluetooth is on

Any ideas?

Strange. We have many kickr core 2 users. I checked our error logs for your username and don’t see anything. I would make sure your core is not directly paired to your phone in android ble settings. One other big one is to reset your ble / network settings but then it forgets all your wifi and stuff so that’s never ideal. Try a different device. You could try our new desktop app as well.

Thank you. I had the trainer paired in my Bluetooth devices and removing it fixed the issue.
