[SOLVED] - ERG mode disconnecting on pause and auto-extend

Hi,

Something new happening here.
Using TD on Android, Elite Direto via BT, ERG mode.
Whenever I stop mid-workout, ERG mode goes to zero (disconnects from trainer) and I need to wake it manually, going up or down in power values trough the buttons.
Same at the end of a workout: using auto extend, whenever it goes into a new interval it creates, it loses the connection, same workaround…

What’s happening?

Thank you

Riccardo

We found a similar bug in our testing but no one has reported that. It is fixed in next version but we need to test the production version with auto-extend to make sure. Sorry about that. I will let you know shortly.

Hi @Alex ,

Here’s another detail, not so relevant but can maybe be useful to you.

In a structured workout in ERG mode, exactly 3 seconds before switching to a new interval, power goes to zero and then recovers back to the power value of the new interval.

It didn’t behave like this in the past.

Thank you!

Yes, we found the source of this problem. It’s very strange because it only affects a small % of trainers but say you were doing 140w interval 3 seconds before the next interval we send a new 140w update. We should not have sent this but it also makes no sense it would cause trainers to go to 0. We will see if new version early next week fix it it. (hopefully so).

Yeah great, thank you.

I must say that… direct interaction with the developer himself is definitely a plus of TD.
Will share with my mates.

Ciao from Italy!

Super cool!!! One of my partners and best friends is Andrea Morelli (previous world tour coach / Mapei/Trek) and I am getting many Italian friends including @BlackTek  because of TD and Matteo here below just became our first Ambassador, and he does not speak English but we really like each other  So Italy is at the top of the list around here. We have a whole development team but I mostly just pick certain tasks I work on.

Honestly, I do think TD is one of the best serious training tools around.

I tested them all and I think TD basically fits my needs and some more.

I’m not interested in the entertainment side of Zwift and clones, not in the race events (I do prefer to race for real).

Training plans management is particularly useful and works really well, also integrations are great (especially intervals.icu).

Pricing is fair too, and this is another major plus.

Thanks Alex, feel free to use my review ah ah!:wave::wave:
