New version 6.5.6 interval beep isn’t beeping
Oh no, I know what the problem is. We designed in a new way to work with Android 15/16 and probably broke it for older android devices. Sorry

Oh interesting, so we have a new foreground service but since you are an existing user it might not ask permissions to use this service. Can you go to android settings and check app permissions here and make sure Physical Activity is enabled.
It was off, I turned it on.
What about the body sensors? I wasn’t allowed as well but I also turned on
I am not sure. I spent so much time screwing with these new android permissions my head is spinning… I see now I need to make it dynamic meaning right now it’s all or nothing. If you don’t have one it does not re-request it. Or we need a permissions reset button in the app is probably safest.

I have it allowed for atrava since I used my heart rate monitor when recording my runs with Strava
Oh I see, yes in Android 15 that is different than A16. I am looking at my Android 15 emulator and I don’t see that setting on so I don’t think you need it.
Not sure if it’s related, but the beep on iOS is not synced up with the seconds counting down. I noticed it started two app versions ago I believe it was.
Just wanted to let you know, this is fixed for me in version 6.7.7
No beeping in previous version, beeping now.

We will improve the timing of this. I think it is a bit later than it was. Beeps are independent of our second timer (this is surprisingly complex) so we are not trying to align it perfectly. It’s also hard because different training devices have different delays between when we tell it to change and when it does. But as I said we will improve this.
