[SOLVED] - No bluetooth data (Zipro Rave Trainer)

Hi, since the update yesterday the iOS app stopped working with my indoor bike (zipro rave white).
Everything was fine until this time but now it seems like the app is unable to read information from the bike.
Please fix this I need the app to help m survive winter :crazy_face:



Some Saris users posted a different issue with this build but my guess is the cause is the same thing. You can use google chrome on mac, windows or android and go here BLE Device Testing Tool and connect and pedal for 20 seconds download the results and email them to me support@trainerday.com and I can have this device on file, so I understand how it works.

I am doing a fix that should be available before the weekend and hopefully it resolves this. We don’t have your trainer so we never know for sure, but the only thing that changed “improved” that we believe could have affected this will be reverted back.

Oh interesting. I saw your data. Your trainer uses modern standard of FTMS but it works like older devices blocking if too many requests are sent. Fix is submitted and should be available tomorrow.

@Alex I updated the app but it’s still the same. Nothing happens in the app :frowning: I sent you more info via email.

Ok, responding here. I believe in your email you said the issue was resolved with new bluetooth module from your manufacturer… It’s funny as we have been resolving our final bugs any device issue I immediately believe is an app bug… With many thousands of users the stream of issues (especially bluetooth) is endless.

So a second Zipro user has an issue so this is not likely a problem with your trainer. But strange thing is their issue is totally different than yours. Seems very strange though.

I realized I could do the same with you. If you are IOS user and want an invite to test flight you could use old version until we get this fixed. Let me know.
