[SOLVED] - Weight Incorrect in Android App

Hi,

I have set my units to miles / lb on the website, and updated the values

In the Android app it is also set to miles / lbs but the values are incorrect. The values are the conversion of the lb weight in kgs to lbs

So on the web I put in 173lb, in the app its 381lb (173kg converted)

I’m not sure if it makes any difference as only just signed up

Someone mentioned an issue like this before but I could not reproduce it. Let me check and review your data. I will get back to you soon

Same issue in the iOS app. Don’t think it matters and I never brought it up before but I definitely don’t weigh 400+ lbs

If the web is right then it matters for strava speed estimates but I finally have some band width to look at this assuming this next build is as exciting as I am imagining (better performance, connectivity and a bunch of stuff…)

Just use the web site to update your weight and ignore what is in the app. I will have a fix for this soon.

This should finally be fixed. Sorry it took so long.

Still not working for me.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and changed the weights on both the app and website. It’s still 173lb on the website and 381lb in app :thinking:

Am in UK so perhaps the update hasn’t pushed to here yet

Strange. We will test more. This should be fixed in version 6.5.5+ you can see the version at the bottom of other settings.

I’ve searched my email, I signed up for the free version in Jan 2025 and then subscribed in July/August 2025

I can’t find two accounts, but I may of signed up in the past and forgot

I found it!!! I am American but only tested metric very well… Sorry to waste your time and not follow your steps

Ok fixed. Will be in the next build. I assume tomorrow or Friday. Thanks for your persistence in following up with this… We were just trying to force you to use metric which worked correctly.
