May my experience serve as a reminder for athletes to synchronise their FTP settings across their training platforms (TrainerDay, TrainingPeaks, intervals.icu, etc.).
I sent today’s planned workout from TrainerDay to TrainingPeaks, from where it synced to my Wahoo headunit. Coach Jack had prescribed a VO2Max session with intervals at 120% FTP (330w on current form), but having left my TP FTP setting at last season’s peak the interval target became 350w in TrainingPeaks.
The workout data must be specified relative to FTP rather than in absolute watts, so make sure you have the same FTP across your platforms, or you could be in for a very intense workout!
