Trainer connected, but not reading any power? (Wahoo V5 / IOS)

New trainer day user here. I’m having great difficulty in connecting my trainer to the app. The app recognizes the trainer, its all green including controllable and power meter, but when i pedal, it is not registering any power. I have had this issue initially on my android, and i got it to work by resetting the app, and i tried it again on my ipad and i was unsucessful in getting it to work.

Trainer: Wahoo kickrv5
Other sensors: Wahoo HRM, Wahoo Cadence Sensor - These sensors connect fine (green) and register the information real time and correctly.

Pretty frustrating as I spend the time i have to ride troubleshooting and hoping for a seamless start-up.

That is strange. Sorry to hear. We just launched a new version of the app today for IOS and their might be some new issue. I am sure I checked my Kickr V5 with iPhone 11 (IOS 26) but let me go try again just to make sure. I will post back soon.

Yes, very strange as you can see my power here. My V5 is working fine. This stuff is so strange. Usually IOS is very predictable for us. Did you ever happen to have our app installed in the past? There is some strange ble caching that can occur. You can refresh your ble cache and some times uninstall / reinstall, restart phone, turn off ble and back on… and deeper you can do full ble reset on your phone.

I realized maybe this is an old iPad? I will try my older iPad to see if there is a problem there.

Its a fairly new ipad, ipad 10. My trainer does connect, but you see how yours reads 99w? Mine doesnt show anything whatsoever. First time user, never installed before. But i’ll uninstall, reinstall, and restart and try again and report back! Ty!
