Trouble connecting Garmin HRM 600

Past couple of days my Garmin HRM 600 won’t connect. I tried on both my tablet and phone. If it does connect, it only shows the run dynamics and not heart rate.

Update the app, should work correctly now. Both I and another user had a Garmin with similar issue that is not resolved.

I re-installed the app today to clear the cache and I still have the same problem.

Hmmm… must be something unique about this device. I had never heard of it. Looks interesting.

Make sure the HRM is not paired directly to your phone. This is supposed to be just like my hrm pro, just newer / improved. Which we fixed.

It works. Sorry. I see what went wrong now. During the first troubleshooting session, I unpaired it with my phone to re-attempt the connection. During the next troubleshooting session, when I try to connect, it would connect then disconnect then reconnect in a cycle. I tried to connect to separate app and it didnt work either. Then i put the HRM back into pairing mode and now it connects just fine.

If anything, I think there should be feedback if possible if the device needs to be put into pairing mode instead of giving the connecting+disconnecting loop.
