We had to change the clocks in northern Illinois USA this morning.
It is symbolic that the light is running out, cold weather is coming, and the outdoor season will be over shortly. After work rides are impossible now.
I was able to get out today and really enjoyed it. Every outdoor ride from this point on is a bonus.
I regret not getting out more this year. I decided most weeknight rides are too much of a timing challenge and regret that decision. I won’t repeat it in 2027.
