Youtube Music playlist

Good Day TD Support

Is there any possibility of having a YT music playlist recognized in the web browser video playback tab? The normal video playback works great.

Maybe also, add an auto playback mode from on video to the next for playback in the tab, as I normally have to pause my workout to switch to another queued video.

Thanx for all the great work and training plans.

Hi yes others have asked for this too. We need to do this. I will try to get it prioritized before winter.

Not sure if you are still dreaming of this but I ended up doing the work and it it’s working. I will try to launch it soon. I am going to try to invest a bunch of time into making this web viewer even better.

Ok, here you go… your secret beta link https://ride.trainerday.com/ to see the next generation webviewer. If you run into any issues you can switch to the previous one but this one works perfect for us.

Hello Alex

I was just doing a test in my browser to add the playlist link, but it gives me the error ‘Link not valid’, but single music videos do add successfully.

Thanx.

I like that the metrics are so easily visible in the new web ui. Also the heads up next segment display. Very helpful.

Thanx for all the efforts. See the examples below:

Oh strange sorry new bug, not sure what happened. Glad you like the new UI, I will have this playlist bug fixed quickly.

No problem. Take your time.

Fixed!!! I realized I only tested that feature on my development server machine and it was a configuration issue.

Good Day Alex

I tested the YT playlist feature on Tuesday past, but forgot to submit my feedback. I only found one problem with the ui, being the calories reading not being picked up correctly from the app ui on my cellphone.

Also, I don’t know if its the browser that I use, but the full screen button was also not working for me. I use Vivaldi as my browser, which is based on the Google Chrome engine.

Thanx for getting this feature implemented. Now, I can cycle with rhythm.

We don’t have calories in the app (do we)? What do you mean? I will look at full screen mode.

Oh I found the calories

Good Day Alex

The app calculates the calories figure correctly, but the full screen web ui does not.

Sorry that I was not clear enough. I tested yesterday again on my notebook and the full screen button works. So, all good there. I think it does not work when I extend the notebook’s display to my TV. So, don’t worry about it.

Thanx again and much appreciated.
