getting duration issues. total workout time is one thing, but the actual workout doesn’t match up. All the workouts it gives are like this.
Some how when you created the plan it did not work. I just logged in as you. I took everything you wrote and copied it and pressed clear and pasted it back and it did this and it worked. See below
The thing is this AI is not connected to coach jack so you can’t ask for coach jack workouts, or let’s say it wont be the same hit a workouts. It looks pretty good but not sure this is the plan you wanted. After you say something you should see a response with a version 1 in this screenshot. now you can go in and ask for adjustments and push to your calendar if you want. After you ask for a change if you don’t see a new version something is going on with your browser or something.
If people want this to understand coach jack workouts it could, it just does not today.
I noticed the same issue. At the end i thought warmup and cooldown aren’t includee as my disrepancy was smaler.
The other thing i noticed: for me it was impossible to produe e.g. VO2max workouts as 4x (8x 30/30) with a recovery between the 4 sets. Any help is welcome.

I love the idea of this, but so far I haven’t been able to get it to work for me. I’m sure you’ll get the bugs worked out. And I would love to see it integrate with Coach Jack workouts as Andrea has heaps of knowledge and experience and I’m positive if his workouts are good for World Tour pros, they are good enough for me.

I’m also getting the same…durations show one thing in the calendar, but click on them and they are way shorter
yes we see the problem, the problem is that gpt is not follow our schema rules very well and we need to make our rules support a wider array of workout progression formulas. fix coming soon.

I set the start point to the section where he starts asking GPT to get to work for him. I was quite surprised at the way he set it up with so many questions / conditions.
Is that usual or necessary?
I would say it’s necessary if you want to fully trust in what the educated internet feels is the best approach to a training plan. Meaning I think AI knows what coaches think
The problem with training is their is very little consensus, so in which case AI will go with what seems most popular. None of this is much different than what a coach would do. So there is a reasonable chance the plan created from this is something that has seen success at an elite level. The thing we want is after going deep using ai, you should be able to paste that into our ai and get a plan that matches.
I suppose one could ask the AI to produce plans in the style of Well Known Coaching Style A, B and C and then recommend which is most suitable (and explain why it is most suitable).
For sure, we have discussed this but the user believing in the plan is a very important aspect. Potentially more important than anything else for some people. Even a big part of TRs success is that people believed… We trusted Coach Chad…
My developer said this issue is fixed regarding the workouts being wrong, if any one is motivated they could try it. Just go to your existing plan, click on the last version and click view in the history. I have not tested. It might take a while before we can all cases of workouts that AI can think of…
Anyone jumping onto Mary Austin at the weekend, after a couple of other hard workouts earlier in the week, really did trust Coach Chad!
He was great. I really believe he understood. He fell into the trap of fully trusting Coggan, which most did at that time… but as you saw him evolve in his beliefs, TR did not evolve as fast as he did. My guess is that was Nate with this marketing/business hat on… And later TR did evolve…
I just went into the plan you updated for me when you tested it and it all looks good. I did not do anything other than click on the workouts to make sure durations matched. They do!
This worked great for me. I just used this prompt:
Goal is to prepare for xxxx race on xxxxx, 2026. I desire to place in the age groups so I want to prepare my body for endurance and speed. I can ride 3 days per week with each ride being less than 2 hours. The types of workouts I enjoy are endurance but also some workouts being interval based.
I got a nice mix of vo2max, sweet spot, and endurance workouts but only went to end of 2025.
So I just said to make this a 24 week plan.
I thought the progression created was pretty good with all type of workouts.
In short, it worked great for me.
Do the suggested plans include any HR+ workouts?
