Today is the day!!! If you signup for our beta version of our app in the play / android store (at the bottom of the page). You can test this out. It just got fully working today, but my developer is moving to another country today so until next week so we wanted to get it out before that. We tested with HR monitor, cadence device, power meters. I am not 100% sure if power match is working with Ant+ but I believe it should be.
Which version is the beta? Mine is 2.7.14 but I canât see any ant+ support. Google Play isnât offering an update.
Edit: I had to uninstall the app before I was given the option to update to the beta.
Great work Alex. I will give it a go and report back.
Thatâs it. 2.7.14 You should see your Ant+ devices on the normal connect screen. If they are Ant and BLE you will see both. I should clarify this does not work with Ant+ Dongles yet. Only built into the phone. We have only tested with Samsung devices.
Alex do you have a list of the Samsung devices you can share?
Really it should work with any of these manufactures but we only had Samsung for testing. You can scroll down on this page and click on the Samsung devices. The newest phones no longer include Ant+
Hi Alex, seems not to work with me. TD does not find any ANT+. Its nit my Samsung responsible as TR does. What mistake do I do? BTW its an Samsung A50
Derk
Are you saying it works with TrainerRoad? I donât see A50 on that list but I see A51 so I guess it is similar?
Hi Alex,
I am also not picking up any ANT+ devices. I am on Ver 2.76.
Is this correct?
Edit: The app did an update and now I am picking up HR. I will give it a test now and let you know how it goes
No you need to sign up for beta and use 2.7.14
PS Hi Dale
I see the A50 in row 13 of samsung phones. Yes it works with TR!
Galaxy S9+ works perfectly well.
It connected to my watch which was broadcasting HR.
I will try with the Garmin chest strap tomorrow
I am having the same problem with the Garmin strap. I will test it out to see if it works with Zwift
Can you verify in your other options in our app at the bottom you have 2.7.14 version of the app? I will test my Tickr now.
The app should be identified as Beta in the title.
Even if it says 2.7.14 you may have to redownload it. Mine said 2.7.14 but offered no ant+ support. Mine didnât pick up ant+ until I uninstalled and redownloaded it.
Hi Alex, I swapped out batteries on my HRM and nothing worked. I eventually tried shorting the contacts on it and it suddenly started working. I will give it a test run tomorrow if I get a chance. I am so excited to start using thisâŚ
Oh very good information. Mine actually just worked by upgrading. That might depend on the phone some how.
Great, great, great!!!
Alex,
ANT+ on Galaxy Tab S7 did not work but didnât think it really would but I tried.
ANT+ on Galaxy Note 9 worked flawlessly. Did my Recovery ride today without issue. Tested by turning off Bluetooth and the ANT+ devices connected (4) without issue. With 7 mins to go I turned Bluetooth and those connected (4) without issue so app showed a total of 8 devices. Ran final minutes without issue.
Question : So if Bluetooth and ANT+ are all available, which will the app pick to use?
Great job for all!
