Switching Workouts in Coach Jack Plans

The coach jack plans look great and provide very nice flexibility.

When I build my plan the “Interval Rides” in the Base phases appear on the long Saturday ride. In the case of Base++ it is an anearobic ride, 20 / 20’s etc.

I generally like to do my interval rides on a turbo either Tue or Thur and keep the long ride as pure endurance. Is it possible shift a workout type from say Sat to Tue for all weeks in the base phase?

I know I can switch them out in the calendar each week but maybe I am missing something.

Base++ has 3 core workouts. In coach jack their is a very simple feature “custom” just change the order of the 3 workouts. You are right though by default in base++ we should have the HIIT on day 1 not the last day. I can give you screenshot if you need.

Thanks, I have the plan set-up for an event in March 26. The Build and Peak phase are scheduled exactly as I want, its just the base phase where I would like switch the sat sweetspot to Thur.

I can do this via the custom for Base only?

What plan configuration did you end up using? Base looks like Base+. What did you use for Build/Peak?

It was a Coach Jack recommended plan. I was originally allocated Base++ and downgraded that to Base+. Build is the serious Italian and peak is Stronger Rider.

Looks like a well balanced plan so hoping to dedicate some consistency to it and give it a proper shot :slight_smile: .

It is intriguing though, a lot of people report good success with the Serious Italian.

I probably waffle and change direction too much. I’m currently working on a homemade polarized style plan. A lot of the principles are similar to CJ, try to keep easy actually easy and then do some level of intervals to provide some intensity.
